Craft Weekend

This weekend was great! I kicked it off with seeing Disney's Prom on Friday night with Anneka! The movie was cheesy but I loved it.

Then Saturday I started making this banner:
It was pretty easy but it honestly took all afternoon!Now today:I punched out these circles, sewed them together and...Bam! Turned out with this

I love it! I accomplished almost everything I wanted to this weekend but I still need to finish my curtains. I washed them because they were sun damaged and it turned into a wrinkly mess. I had to iron all of them which sucked but they will be better in the end! Goodnight.

Okay first of all, I am terrible at updating my blog. I wanted to blog in Cayman but the photo uploader refused to work, better late than never right? For those of you that didn't know, we went to Cayman for a month! It was the greatest, we didn't want to leave!

Valentines day was lame! No it wasn't that bad... I started it off by going to Nordstrom with Kortni to get our makeup done. Then after I realized I looked good but, wasn't going anywhere all night! I babysat while all the lovers went on dates to fancy restaurants to eat yummy food but that's okay because we ate this:

WAY better than Chef's Table.

The next day I went to school and the boy I have a small... oh wait, big crush on gave me this rose! I was stoked!!

Then I finished it off by making cinnamon rolls until 1 am woot woot!

Lately I have been adding little things to my room to make it more interesting. If you've ever been in my room you know that I could land a helicopter in there, so it's kind of hard to fill the space but I make it work.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

On Martin Luther King Day we headed up to our Ranch House.The mountains were covered in fresh snow.
We built an igloo/fort it was quite successful if you ask me.

Christmas Break

Last week my goal was to blog everyday but then of course our internet wasn't working so I hope to accomplish that this week!

I like to call this little guy Moses. Well, I liked to... he's dead now. It's okay though, he lived a good two months :) I found out I'm bad with fish, my friends gave me 4 fish for my birthday within two weeks, two were gone! I actually kinda want anther fish... we'll see though :)

this week i was really into photography and my moms "big" camera!

especially up close!a white trees blossoms:a green tree? i didnt even know about these!up close on the green tree:some tulips have even blossomed!then i think two days later i was sooo sad when i woke up to snow!!then it all melted and turned out to be a good day! i was taking some pictures of karly,and we came across the tulips, nearly all of them had blossomed! happy spring!

Every Thursday I go to my neighbors house for a sewing class. Usually I don't need much help its just I need a set time so I can actually get something done. since spring break is coming I brought it home to work on. for about three months now I have been working on a quilt!

I finished sewing most of the rows at my class. so today I started sewing them all together

3 rows together... not too bad... they are sewn kind of crooked so we'll see how it turns out!
I laid all the rows down in the hallway to see what the quilt would look like in the end and my mom told Karson to walk across it very carefully! when I told him to lay down he kept repeating, "very careful, very careful."

first of all, happy new year! i am so excited to start a new year and just start fresh! on thursday morning i had a few little red dots on my arms a such but i didnt think anything of it. over christmas break my brother had the chicken pox. i thought i wasnt gonna get them because i had already had them twice! but when i showed my mom the dots she said youve got chicken pox for sure! i was thinking, "what ive already had them twice, is this really the third time?!" that is the worst news a twelve year old could hear a few hours before new years eve! that didnt stop me really though... i asked my mom if someone could still come over and she told me as long as their parents dont care! so i told this one girl and she was planning on coming over but then her cousin came over and she was all worried that she was gonna get it, anyways so she didnt come over. i was sad about it but i still had a good night with my family! we always have a feast from a chocolate fountain :) to a meat tray, pretty much everything you can think of!

so right now this would be my fifth day. did i mention 5 other kids in my family have it and my grandma! its crazy!

Prayer

Every night my dad chooses somebody to say the prayer. My dad always says, "Our prayer will now be given by..." then he chooses somebody to pray my little brother Karson always says "ME!" So tonight my dad picked Karson to say our prayer. (Don't forget, he's only two!) He said, "Heavenly Father thanks food (my mom helps she said bless Kyler) bless Kyler at a mission sleep good amen." Probably one of the cutest prayers!

Medieval Feast!

Every year the sixth grade has a medieval feast! This year it was my turn! Our grade spent one month doing projects and learning about the "middle ages". I really enjoyed those times! The feast was great! Everybody brought one thing and Kimberly Roy decorated! (I helped decorate!) It looked amazing! Our school cafeteria made chicken and fromw each class there was a queen and a king! From my class Matt was the King and Ashley was the queen! Ashley is one of the tallest girls in our class and Matt is the short one! During the feast people had to do a talent! I played the harp and I was so nervous! Everybody sat with their friends and of course we had th dress up! I recommend not wearing a dress that is a little bit too big and also has a huge hoop at the bottom for 7 hours! Sorry I don't have any pictures!

Mexico!

I went to Mexico! It was way fun!! Karly, Ariana, Taylor my Mom, Dad and I went!This is me swimming with the dolphins, at the end they would come behind you and shoot you up on there noses! so fun!

As a lot of you know I went to Disneyland with My Little sister Karly, My Mom Denice and my moms friend Trini. We kept it a surprise for Karly! We Met with our friends from Arizona. If you haven't heard you can get into Disneyland free on your birthday. Rachel (my friend from arizona) spent her birthday in Disneyland! This is me, Trini had these soft cheetah PJ's and she left them in the bathroom so I decided to try them on!!

Dancing Goals!

A few days ago I went to my dance class. I remembered how I am not very flexible! I thought up a couple goals for dance. Number one, get my splits flat!! Number two, once my splits flat, I am going to try and have a PERFECTLY straight leap! Number three, this doesn't have to do with flexibility but I almost have it but it is, instead of one pirouette (pir-o-wet I think) turn do a double turn!! I can't wait to accomplish these goals!!

Wow 2008 went by fast!! Last night we had all this food including a chocolate fondue fountain (YUM!) a meat tray chips and a whole buunch of other junky foods!! EVERY year we have that tradition of all the food!! Also, we have a tradition where we play Dance Dance Revolution pretty much ALL night!! Savannah and Daryl came over and hung out, it was a BLAST!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope you all have had a great break!! A HUGE goal of mine is,

GO TO BED EARLIER!! haha I struggle with that I always go to bed at like midnight then I have to wake up at 7 am!!

I guess we have to go back to school on Monday but I am sure nobody wants to go back!! I mean it's great, not showering haha, sleeping in, and just doing whatever you want so I guess I will see most of you on Monday see ya!!

One time I went to bed at like midnight and it was a school night. When I woke up I was SOO tired! So, I went to school and we have books that we have to read in little groups. (book clubs)And that day unfortaniatly we had to set a long assignment. When we set a book club assignment I went back to my desk when everyone was reading I was reading with my head on the desk looking at the floor and I fell asleep for like 5 minutes! Then I was laying on the desk with my head sideways looking at my teachers desk and I fell asleep again and then when I woke up I looked over at daryl and she was laughing SOOOO hard!! haha it was funny!! Luckily my teacher didn't see!!

Frozen Eggs??

Random but, today I was baking cookies for Santa tomorrow and I just needed one more ingrediant. It was the eggs. I was doubling the recipe so I needed 10 eggs or something so I cracked my first few and then on like my fourth one I cracked it and it was frozen!! I was so confused and it looked disgusting!! My mom is pretty much a pro at baking so I asked her. I said, "Mom the eggs are frozen is that normal or what?" She said, "Just let them thaw out then use them." So I used them and it was all normal!!

WICKED IS COMING TO UTAH!!! I hope I can go!! I know my parents bought tickets but I'm not sure I am going or not. I already saw it in New York and it was probably the best play I have even seen!! A couple of other plays I want to see is, Hairspray, Mama Mia and kind of The Little Mermaid.

Cheerleading With Friends

Yesterday Daryl, Savannah and I were so bored at recess so we looked around at every one and we saw these girls doing some cheerleading thing. Then I remembered something that I did at BYU cheer camp. I told my friends and they were willing to try it!! What we did was, there were two people facing each other, one who got up on our hands and then somebody who stood behind the "flier" (the person who satnds up in our hands.) to make sure they didn't fall so, Daryl and I were the people who held the flier up and Emma was the one who stood behind the flier and Savannah was the flier!! We dropped Savannah pretty much 100 times!! It is so funny EVERY time!!

Today our friend Spencer saw us doing it and so he came over and asked us what we were doing we told him how we got the whole idea and then I was like, "SPENCER!! You be the flier and when you come out of it do a backflip!!" He agreed and it was SO awesome!! We went and got Kristen, one of the ladies who watches us outside during recess, she was scared and she loved it at the same time!! Recess' have been fun lately!!

This is my 14 year old brother Keaton (I am in the background). He is a pretty awesome brother when he isn't moody. When he is in a good mood, he is very fun to play with. This was an unexpected picture, on Mac computers there is a program thing called, Photo Booth. So one day I was just messing around taking pictures and Keaton comes in and just pops his head in the picture. (That's why my face is like that!! haha)

Skiing!!

On Friday Afternoon my family and I went skiing up in Deer Valley!! We have a cabin in Deer Valley so every Friday we go and spend the night then on Saturday we ski !! Saturday was the first day of the season!! We had to walk a lot because there was hardly any snow!! If you haven't tried it I think you should!! IT'S SUPER FUN!!

Christmas Around The World

On Friday the Whole sixth grade went to the Marriot Center to see Christmas Around the world. It was super fun!! My favorite one was the hip-hop dance!! (This one is for you, Daryl!!)One of the most special parts was watching Mark dance to all of the songs (very entertaining!!) Anyways, I hope everyone had a good time!!
